The Television Critics Association Press Tour occurs twice a year, once in the summer and once in the winter. The bi-annual event currently spans over two weeks and consists of a variety of panels held by networks and streaming platforms. Basically, from what I understand, it’s a bunch of TV critics sitting in hotel ballrooms learning about all the new and returning shows for the current TV season.
