Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming season of Community, which will not be on NBC. Thanks to a last minute save by Yahoo, Community lives on via the Internet, and sans the darkest timeline.
Season 6 Premiers Tuesday March 17th
Two episodes will be released on 3/17/15, and then a new episode will be available every Tuesday thereafter. (Sorry, no Netflix-style binge watching for this one.)
What Time?
Streaming begins at 12:01 am, West Coast Time (PST).

Episodes Will Be Free
Community Season 6 is free! No subscription or cable authentication required, although I’m not sure if fans outside of the US will be able to watch it on Yahoo Screen. I do however know that it’s free because Yahoo’s content is ad supported. Win some, lose some.
Will the Internet Change Community?
Despite the more lackadaisical guidelines regarding standards and practices, Community will not be turning into Game of Thrones. It’ll pretty much be the same weird, yet loveable show it’s always been. At the Television Critics Association winter press tour Dan Harmon further explained that episodes would still follow a three-act structure and despite having a slightly larger budget there wouldn’t be a barrage of concept episodes either.
Bonus Info: Greendale Says Goodbye & Hello
The Greendale Seven is down another original member. Yvette Nicole Brown will not be back as Shirley Bennett. John Oliver and Jonathan Banks are busy with new projects, so their characters will no doubt be MIA for the foreseeable future as well. Filling some of the empty seats around the study table are newcomers Paget Brewster and Keith David.
